The importance of serving.....

Music Ministry
The Music Ministry is responsible for the praise through song, worship, and the flow in the house. They
plan the music program for regular and special musical programs throughout the year. They are
responsible for recruiting musicians and singers, forming choirs, and maintaining instruments and
equipment.

Media Ministry
The media ministry supervises all media for The Garden, including maintaining the website, social media
pages, live streaming or recording of services and events. They create flyers, signs, business cards, or any
other form of communication or advertisement.

Kingdom Education Ministry
The Kingdom Education Ministry exists to equip the citizens and to aid in their learning and spiritual
growth through training, education, and guidance. This ministry works to ensure biblically sound
instruction is provided through Kingdom Connect classes, Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, etc.

Arts and Dance Ministry
Through arts and dance, we seek to communicate in a unique way the message of the Gospel to
the people of God and to those who do not know Christ. This ministry is responsible for the
development of plays, art and dance education and programs.

Stewardship Ministry
The Stewardship Ministry works to maintain a balanced budget allowing for funds to cover operating
expenses, fulfill our purpose, and serve the community. They work to keep an accurate accounting of
income, expenses, budget and reports.

Host and Hospitality Ministry
The Hospitality Ministry is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for citizens and
guests of The Garden. The hosts are responsible for welcoming everyone with a smile,
presenting visitors with a visitors’ packet, distribute materials (bulletins, pledge cards, tithe
envelopes, etc.).

Pastoral Care
The Pastoral Care Ministry offers support for the pastor in carrying out his duties. They make Pastor
aware of the need for arrangements regarding counseling, births, baptisms, marriages and funerals.
They respond to requests of and for pastor and his family, ministerial team, and visiting speakers.

Special Events/Media Ministry
The Special Events Ministry will plan, perform and promote remarkable TGC and community events.
They will assist with vendors, venue and volunteers for special events.

Fundraising Ministry
The fundraising ministry will develop goals and plans for cultivating funds for TGC via grants,
fundraisers, donors, marketing, etc.

Ministries in Development
Evangelism and Outreach Ministry
The Evangelism and Outreach Ministry seeks to preach the Gospel in the community and to be
witnesses to the world and to the body of Christ while encouraging, comforting and exhorting
all those whom God puts in our care. They work to organize outreach events to ensure awareness
and connection in the community and surrounding area. They establish relationships with collaterals
and create events to invite new people to become part of the citizenship.

Marriage Ministry
The Marriage Ministry will be open to all married couples who desire to strengthen their
relationship. The ministry’s mission is to encourage couples to renew, restore and revive their
marriages by learning to follow biblical wisdom for a fulfilling marital relationship.

Mission Ministry
The Mission’s primary goal is to spread the word of God abroad while meeting both the
spiritual and physical needs of our brothers and sisters. The main focus of this ministry will be
to continue working tirelessly in the community feeding the hungry, clothing those in need, but
even more importantly feeding the word of God to all those we meet with love, patience and
humility.

Scholarship Ministry
The Scholarship Ministry will provide spiritual, financial and educational support to students
pursing their educational goals.

Singles Ministry
The Singles Ministry, “Single & Satisfied”, is for individuals ages 18 and older that are single,
divorced, unmarried and widowed. They will gather to study the Word of God as it applies to
singleness as well as socialize outside of the church. The ministry’s mission is to “get the most
out of singleness while studying the Word of God”

Transportation Ministry
The Transportation Ministry will provide needed transportation for citizens as well as for other
individuals in our community who desire to worship and fellowship with us during mid-week
and Sunday services as well as special events.

Youth (Sprout Culture) Ministry
The Youth Ministry will serve all youth. The Youth Ministry exists to help our youth serve the
Lord through Godly living while providing a fun and encouraging environment to aid in their
spiritual growth. The ministry’s mission is to have our youth grow in the grace and knowledge
of our Lord and Jesus Christ while creating a fellowship environment where they can have fun,
be known, be nurtured and be encouraged.

Women of Worship Women’s Ministry
The women’s ministry will focus on the mind, body, soul, and spirit of the whole woman. The
mind because we will never stop learning, the body because the body is the temple of the Spirit
of God, the soul because of the knowledge of being called to a higher purpose, and the spirit
because all things begin and end with God.

Prison Ministry
The Prison Ministry will support incarcerated men and women as well as former prisoners and
their families in reaching their goals and meeting their needs. This ministry will also educate
citizens and collaborators to better assist the population with employment, rehabilitation and
transformation.

Health and Wellness Ministry
The Health Ministry is composed of dedicated members who are compassionate, willing to do
help, comfort others and are knowledgeable in providing health services. They will provide first
aid and/or nursing care during church services/activities with the exception of administering
medicine. They will offer wellness education through nutrition, exercise and health screenings
through wellness programs.

Men of Vision and Excellence (MOVE) Ministry
Men of Vision will serve the men of the church through encouragement, support, social
activities and small group studies. Men will be equipped to understand their vision, purpose
and make a move towards the excellence God has placed inside of each of them
